Is anyone besides me unbealiveablely excited for the new wicked movie coming out soon? heres what wikipediea says

In a 2004 interview with the UK Official Wicked Forums on iVillage, Maguire stated that “there will eventually be a film of Wicked the musical but probably not for four or five years”.[78] Marc Platt, one of the producers of the Broadway production, recently extended his contract with Universal Pictures and a movie version of the musical is currently in talks as of July 15, 2008. Universal Pictures production president Donna Langley told Variety magazine, “Our goal now is absolutely to make the Wicked film, but much like Judy Craymer wouldn’t give up screen rights to Mamma Mia! until the stage show had reached its pinnacle, Marc and Stephen Schwartz are very mindful of the right timing. But we’re dying to do it.” If the project gets off the ground, Winnie Holzman, the bookwriter of the musical, will also write the screenplay. No casting has been announced.[79] In an August 2008 interview with E!’s Mark Malkin, Kristin Chenoweth expressed interest in playing the role she originated saying, “It would be hard for me not to want to do it…” while going on to hope for the movies completion “before [she turns] 45!” [80]

i love the broadway one. its amazing. as amazing as the cast is, chances are that the cast wont be in it, because there are multiple casts who play the play. sorryyy =[
