so i used a program and made a home movie. and i copied it to a dvd.
now i want to make a copy of that dvd, can i just copy those files to my computer, then use a dvd copy program to copy that directly to a dvd?
will i be able to view it?
i used this program called dvd shrink, and it actually made those files a little bigger. i don’t even know why.

yes, just copy it to computer, and then burn it to another dvd. For a dvd to work, you need the video_ts folder, so dont forget that.
DVD Shrink cuts out like every other frame or so, so its more choppy, and it gives you options to cut out some audio files and videos if you wish, to give more room. Dvd’s you buy normally have 1-2 security features. 1) region and 2) size. You will notice that they are all about 7gb while the dvds you burn only hold up to 4.3gb. DVD shrink lets you shrink the 7gb worth of video into your specified size.
Since you made a home movie, you shouldn’t have to worry about either one, and not use dvd shrink. just copy to computer and use any cd burner to burn to dvd like regular files.
