I am shooting an independent movie and I have a shooting scene where a guy fires at another in the bush. Now am trying to know which type of short gun can I use? I also need to make it real with blood on the spot. How do I go about this and do I need permissions to do this in the state of Massachusetts?

You need to download filming form of the state of Massachusetts website, this will cost you money for permission to shoot on the streets and you will need insurance on your actors, the AUDIO-TECHNICA BP4029 is a good audio mircophone or are you talking about firearms, if so buy a good Airsoft something like the Warrior L96 Mk.2 (OD) with scope and bipod.
