My friend and I have been taking drama, acting, and filming classes for as long as I can remember, and just recently we’ve decided we’d like to try and make a professional-looking movie.
We both know how costly it is, and how much time and effort has to be put in to making a movie, which is why I’m on here ( :
We want a very young, unknown cast. As in, the movie–well, we want it to be–a romance movie about 2 teenagers. (GirlxBoy) But we also want some action, and real drama in it.
I’m a writer, and my friend put me in charge of writing the script, but the problem is…I don’t really have any ideas.
If there is someone out there willing to email me back and forth, write it for me, take my advice (and use it)–and really anyone that just has a really good idea, I’d LOVE if you would write the script for me. You will be mentioned in the credits, honerably. We don’t have a big budget as it is, but we think we have enough to get by on for the time being. You will be payed–but not to much. Probably only 100. BUT, we do plan on sending this to our friend–who is a professional actor, he was actually in remember the Titans as Kip. His name is Bo Keister, and it could get you places.
I guess my real question is, is there anyone intersted in helping us for a very low cost? You would only get paid once the movie is completed, using the money we earn from premiering it. We live in virginia. We need at least 4 camera men–or women. We’d appreciate it if you weren’t to old…we are teens, and we don’t want to be uncomfortable, although we will have trusted adults working with us. We need people willing to be in production, the art department (which could be all of sets, props, construction, scenic, greens, and special effects). We also need people for hair and makeup, costume department, camera, production sound, grip, electrical, locations, editorial, visual effects, information technology and sound/music.
Remember: We are teenagers ourselves and it’s okay if you are to, as long as your willing to help ( : Yes, you will be mentioned, yes, you will be paid (if only a little), and yes, this could get you to higher places.
