Is Alice in Wonderland worth the biannual trip I make to those overpriced movie theathers?
Question by MT: Is Alice in Wonderland worth the biannual trip I make to those overpriced movie theathers?
I’m really not a penny pincher. I’m very good at blowing money actually. I’m just so outraged by the cost of movies and concessions anymore I limit it to a few trips a year to keep my blood pressure under control.
I’m looking for a way to entertain my 7 year old daughter today. Is Alice worth it? I’ve heard mixed reviews. She liked Coraline, so the Tim Burton dark overtones won’t scare her.

I’ve heard mixed reviews too. Some say they hated it and some said they loved it. I’d skip it and wait until it came out on dvd. We just found a theater that has $ 2 tickets, all day every day! They are older movies (like they are playing New Moon, Alvin & the Chipmunks 2, things like that), but still if we just wait for some good movies to go there, then we only have to pay $ 2 to see them. You should check fandango and see if there are any cheap theaters by you. The snacks are still expensive, but I guess you can’t have everything.
