specifically million dollar budget movies. Do they sell to networks (television channels?) or sell to Blockbusters/netflix/hollywood video?

Right…they sell distribution rights to a theatrical distributor or a DVD company, as well as overseas rights (to show the film in other country) and what are called “ancillary rights” (i.e. cable TV, etc.)
