How do you get the smokey blended eye makeup look?

Question by cheekybrit: How do you get the smokey blended eye makeup look?
I really want to get the nice mix of smudged eyeliner and dark brown eyeshadow gradually fading up to lighter eyeshadow right underneath the brow, but i’m not sure how to do it. first of all, all the dark eyeshadow just seems to crease into my eyelid really quickly, the make up doesn’t stay, and i’m not sure what tools/best make up/best colors to use to make it look good and not trashy or badly done. http://m90.org/gallery/paparazzi/keira-knightley-pride-prejudice-premiere-06-1.jpg

i use keira knightly as the model cuz she does this look a lot. hehe

this is all about smuging make sure u use cream eye shadow its a lot more easy to blend.first line ur upper and lower lashes with dark black eyeliner.and smuge the liner and add a dark chocolate brown eye cream or gel on ur eye lid and blend with some black liner on the top lash lines. top with 3 coats of mascara.
