Trimming and adding video clips on a program without loosing quality?
Question by Andy M: Trimming and adding video clips on a program without loosing quality?
Okay, so I am in the process of making a mini movie but I have recorded soo many clips at a long length of time because I did double takes on lines and acting, that way I can decide which sections of clips I like. That being said, I have a big dilemma. I don’t want to just throw ALL of the clips on Sony Vegas and then multitrim them. I’d rather combine and select the best few first, then add the clips on Sony Vegas. But, I don’t want to lose any quality. The parameters and settings for my clips are all the same.
So, Is there a program out there that can trim and link clips together without any quality lost, preferably free?

Yup. Windows Movie Maker is free and SUPER easy to use. You can also choose the output settings for both video and audio. You can keep the quality the same, or lower it depending on your preferences.
