What’s the big difference between “Independent” Films & Mainstream movies?
Question by Senator Padme Amidala Skywalker: What’s the big difference between “Independent” Films & Mainstream movies?
I know they’re not done by Fox, Universal, Tri Star, ETC but aren’t the companies that make these “independent” films independent companies? How do you tell one from another. Only example of the top of my head is Boys Don’t Cry & it still had super star Hilary Swank! Clarification please?
She wasn’t a “Star” big time. She had also been on BH 90210 . I bet Aaron Spelling regretted letting her go after being on (Original BH 90210) after that. I think you’re right. Maybe other than “Next Karate Kid” & BH 90210 were her only major appearances. I like her better as a movie that TV show actress anyway but she was good as “Carly” the single mom who dated Steve & worked at the Peach Pit until her father got sick (in the show) & she didn’t feel right having a stranger like a private nurse so she left Beverly Hills with her son Zack. It made me sad b/c Steve had bonded not only with Carly but her 6 y/o son. At least that gave him practice for later on when he had his own child lol.
