Question by whit: How do i learn more about sports in general?
I grew up with a kid and him and his dad could talk about sports for hours. I was most impressed when once we were watching a movie and they kids were playing football and they called a play and he said “thats not even a play.”
I like to watch sports but i want to be able to understand them better. I would probably have no idea about them if it wasn’t for growing up with him but i no longer talk to him. How can i learn more about sports. I ordered SI kids when i was young. Should i order a magazine like SI or Sports Weekly?
I have time to watch sportscenter right before bed. Other than that i have little time throughout the day but i could make room for a magazine.

Betting on sports usually helps to remember them. Also, Yahoo has fantasy sports that you can participate in. A magazine is great, but it mainly teaches you about the players and not the game. If you had time, I would say to participate in a team and enjoy.
