Cant edit Quicktime Movies in Windows Movie Maker?
Question by Her: Cant edit Quicktime Movies in Windows Movie Maker?
I make montages frequently for school or youtube, and primarily use Windows Movie Maker (honestly, only because I dont want to have to pay for a program, and I don’t know how to use anything else – although WMM can really piss me off).
I got a new camera for my birthday (Nikon Coolpix S8000) which I LOVE for its high quality photos and how I can zoom SO far in & still take good videos and pictures.
I recently noticed, however, that the videos automatically were uploading to my computer as Quicktime Movies, which I cannot use in Windows Movie Maker. This is honestly quite a catastrophe for me because the videos I uploaded, I will NEED to use for a montage of my school play.
I need some help here.
Can anyone please, please tell me:
A. How to get my new videos to upload in another file form (ie., .WAV or whatever)
B. A free and easy (or at the very least, affordable and worth it) Movie Editing Software
C. ***How to convert my already uploaded movie files into a compatible file type for WMM
You all have no idea how much this would help. Please give your best answer.
