How do Christians know the movies they boycott are bad?
Question by The Producer™: How do Christians know the movies they boycott are bad?
If they can’t make decisions on what movie to see by themselves, what decisions can they make by themselves?
i mean, that seems like a pretty easy decision. on Friday night sometimes I’ll just go to the movies and make a “game time decision” do they have like an 800 number to call to make sure the movie isn’t evil enough that one might completely abandon their faith?

Its becoming more common for Christians to claim movies as their own instead of criticizing them.
Look at the Lord of the Rings flicks. There are books devoted to why these movies, and the books they are based on, are Christian-themed.
In case you weren’t aware, Tolkien created a whole pantheon of gods to populate his imaginary universe. Gandalf was a kind of demigod; Sauron was tutored by Melkor.
By this logic, any movie with a positive message or virtuous character is a Christian movie. Like Battlefield Earth and Spawn.
