Is there any movie maker software better than Windows Movie Maker? For editing sports interview videos (with some special effects) intended to be uploaded onto a niche website.

Adobe Premiere pro as part of the production premium suite is $ 1800 worth of very powerful editing software.

Avid, is the industry gold standard and runs about $ 2500 before add ins.

To my knowledge, these are the tops for anything available to the public. I have used both and own Adobe, which has been able to do 99 percent of what I did with Avid.

Note that both of these require a high horsepower computer to take full advantage of the software.
