Question by RANDALL D: Would someone please tell me how to get something from MOV to WMA or WMV so it goes into windows movie maker?
Hello. My brother Alex and I have been trying to make a youtube video. We used a digital camera to make a video that we want to upload. It comes up in quick time. How can I change it from MOV (quick time) to WMV, WMA, or an MPEG? I already tried windows media encoder 9. Is there any other way? I tried importing it from quick time to windows movie maker. My laptop says that it doesn’t have the codec it needs. My laptop has windows vista home basic. I don’t know what a codec is and I don’t know how I can change it from a quick time file to a media player file. I guess it only takes media player files. Also, I already tried going into control panel and going into quick time and changing stuff. I only can get to control panel. My control panel is in classic view. When I click on quick time it just won’t do anything. There isn’t even a picture of that blue Q for quick time. IT’s just a white blank page of paper for the icon and it says “quick time”. Can I change it with windows 98?
