She cancelled our first date, but we have plans to watch a movie at her place. Is this still a date?
Question by Mike H: She cancelled our first date, but we have plans to watch a movie at her place. Is this still a date?
So i’m kind of at a loss. I met this girl who is a greeter at the building I work at. I work in a shop on the main level. It seemed like she would come in and flirt, buy a cookie, and leave. She waved at me a few times from her desk, and one day I mustered up the courage to go talk to her as I was leaving on a Friday. When I went up to her, she asked if I had plans this weekend, and I said “Nope, all clear. you?” and she replied “Nope i’m free all weekend.” and I asked her flat out if she was seeing someone. She said no, and I asked if i could get her number and if she would like to go out with me that weekend. She gave me her number, and come date night, she bailed for a birthday party, but we rescheduled for Sunday. She never called. said she thought she lost her phone but it was at her friends house. So she says “I’m sorry I really wanted to hang out with you. lets do something Thursday. are you free?” and i agreed to it. Thing is, we were planning to go to dinner and a movie, but somehow got on the topic of computers and her broken laptop, and I said i could take a look at it. So, now the first date is going to be take out, a rental, and a broken laptop with the pressure on since it’ll be at her apartment. Is this still a date, or is this now free IT support?
Also, any women have tips? I don’t wanna do anything that will make her feel uncomfortable. how would I know to go for a kiss if its welcomed at all? It’s Wednesday!! someone please let me know soon!! I really like this girl, and I don’t wanna screw this up!

I think you’ve already wasted enough time. She seems to be playing games. I think you should just move on from this…but don’t seem too affected by it. Brush this and her off…
