Question by Kelly Bundy: For what reason (other than GREED) did they make the Harry Potter books into movies?
I know I’m going to get grief for this, but I personally think they ruined a good thing.
I have many good memories of reading these books with my son…when we finally saw the first movie, both of us were horrified.
Am I the only one?
KK-snobbish? If you call having a vivid imagination “snobbish” then yes, i am.

Why do you assume it’s greed? Frankly I enjoyed the movies and thought they did a decent job at bringing the book to life. Yes, some ventures are about greed and obsession over how much more money a franchise can bring in but I think Harry Potter was a good move.
To me, you seem a bit snobbish. Please correct me if I’m wrong because from where I sit, very little is good enough for you.
I have quite the imagination as well and still found the books and movies enjoyable. I know several with wonderful imaginations and they too enjoyed the movies. Guess we’re just different in that respect.
