Question by nameless: How do you sell screenplay?
If you sell a script that is considered “solicited” does that mean the script is registered with the WGA and not necessarily being pitched through an agent?

Solicited means a prodco or someone requested it.
The best way to sell a script is to get an agent, which is almost impossible today.
The best way to get an agent now is to win a major screenplay competition like the Nicoll Fellowships (the biggest one). You have until the end of this month to submit so I suggest doing that.
Anyone can register a script with the WGA, in fact you can do it online and it costs 20 bucks.
