Question by Alex C: What is the best movie making software?
I want a movie making software that does it all. Make fake rain and explosions. Is there any out there that do such a thing? Like adding special effects?

Windows Movie Maker is the free choice for video editing but isn’t very good software. It constantly closes when your in the middle of something for no reason. CNET give’s it a 1 star rating and doesn’t recommend it for any user.

You can download a free trial of the software mentioned above. If your more interested in free software, there is a new, better alternative to Windows Movie Maker. If you have a MAC, iMovie is pretty good. Final Cut Pro is what professionals use for commercials, movies, etc. However, this software is very expensive and only works on the MAC.
