I want a camera I can use as an independent filmmaker to make movies that look professional (like ones released in theaters) that I can air at successful, professional film festivals. Any ideas or models? I need as many possibilities as I can get. Thanks!

Arri. Generally movie producers, even at large studios, rent the cameras. What you save in not buying can go to lab fees for processing. Also, if you get financial support, you will discover they want their money to go directly to the project, and not buy toys for you to use later. so renting is the ticket.
