All You Zombies (Acoustic Cover)

“All You Zombies”, written by Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian. Orginally recorded by The Hooters for their 1983 album Amore. This is one of those lost songs from my childhood that I only ever heard once or twice on the radio late at night when I ought to have been asleep. I’ve always associated it with midnight for that reason, and although the lyrics are based upon biblical stories it always felt more to me like a protest song. You can make of it whatever you like. (This is my first time recording a performance using separate audio and video to be synced together later. The audio was done via Goldwave, the video via an old Intel webcam my roommate dug up. They were both recorded simultaneously and are the same performance. Edited via Windows Movie Maker, which is really not terribly good at what it does. I’m sure future efforts will look better as I find software solutions that don’t suck. Feel free to suggest a vid editing app if you know of one.)
