Antique Compact Mirror… Please PLEASE help!?

Question by lacy, stacy: Antique Compact Mirror… Please PLEASE help!?
Today, i bought a sterling silver antique compact powder mirror.
On the front, engraved in script says:
With Love
Rose
1950-1962

I want to find out who rose is, and what the dates mean. How can i find this out? are there any ways to do research? I already talked to the lady who sold it to me, but she didnt know anything.
Please, does anyone know any ways to find the meaning of this?
On the bottom of the compact, it says:
This compact will accomodate Elizebeth Arden
“Ardena”
“Invisible Veil”
Cake Powder refills as used in Elizabeth Arden No. 521 Compacts

I cant find anything else 🙁

If it has a jewelers mark on it somewhere, you may be able to trace it through the jewelry store that it was purchased from. You will have to take it to a jeweler to have them look at it with a loupe (a magnifying eyepiece) and see if they can see one. If they do, see if they can help you identify and locate the jeweler. If they can’t, I don’t know what else you could do to locate who Rose is.

By the way…….something has to be 100 years of age or older to be an antique. I was born in the late 50’s and don’t consider myself an antique….at least not yet! LOL You must be a youngster. =)
