Any good software for making a video sample?

Question by digdeep: Any good software for making a video sample?
im uploader at http://partis.si (slovenian tracker) and sometimes I have to make a sample.I used movie maker but its not very good for this kinds of things.If anyone knows good tutorial or software it will be good.
