Aravinda Prabhakar Ek Din Ka Sultan, Telugu Drama Highlights

Actors: Aravinda, a female who played the male role of “Meesaala Venkataratnam (MV) Dr. Prabhakar as Head Clerk,(MV calls him as head-peenu) Amar Reddy as clerk (MV calls him as bulli-peenu Kumar Koneru(MV calls him as peonugaadu). He also played as post-man (mail-man), and played both roles extremely well. Director: Dr.Prabhakar Original Story-writer: Jandhyala. The script had to be modified by the Director, Prabhakar to fit the 4 actors instead of the original drama’s five characters. The play was of 30 min duration, but was shortened to 8 minutes in this video, showing only the highlights of it. Story: Meesaala Venkata Ratmnam is an llleterate firewood vendor who is erroneously appointed as an influential FCI Officer of Fertilizer Corporation of India. Then on, he feels and acts like a President, becomes highly authoritative issuing senseless statements and commands. Finally he is made aware by the mail-man that he is not the person who is appointed as the FCI-officer, but a new arrival in town with same name. Then this small businessman blames his chat-mix (mudi) vendor-friend who apparently read the appointment letter and told him that he was given this elevated powerful FCI-Officer position and was advised to take charge of that office. Therefore, MV says that he is innocent and needs to be forgiven and requests the staff not to hurt his fire-wood selling business.
