For some reason windows movie maker keeps glitching out on me and I’m getting rather tired of it. Is there any similar free software I can use? I generally make music videos and such, nothing too involved or needing a lot of effects.
Most of the video files I have are mp4 if that makes a difference!

You can check out trakAxPC Pro. It’s a new editing suite that allows you to edit and mix any combination of audio, video and photos. You can do effects, text, split screen, reverse, slow-motion etc, plus upload your video directly to YouTube through the application. There is a free lite version and paid pro version available.
