I just bought the Canon T1i and tried to upload videos to edit them with Windows Movie Maker, but WMM does not support .MOV files. I have been looking to buy a new editing program (with more options and a more professional “look”) for a while…so now I am finally being forced to!
My question is what is the best video editing program for “remixing” many clips to music and making short documentaries with effects, etc. I want the program to be relatively simple to use, and although my top choice would be Sony Vegas 9, it costs $ 600 which is over my price range.
Personal experience with software, ease of use, availablility of varied effects, and price is greatly appreciated!
