Can I get film making experience by making movies with my friends?

Question by Ryan: Can I get film making experience by making movies with my friends?
Lets say my friends told me there going to make film about a video game, and they ask for my help. So I give them a hand with making there film. So I was wounding, If I wanted to go to a collage that has a really good film class, or even at a community collage would that help me out first?

i reckon include upcoming artists in your film to get exposure like singer Matthew Najar he could model or something or someone like
