I know the vast majority of the top level domains are now taken a long time ago…Though what would happen if I use a dictionary search( I can even build my own PHP script tp check for best domains, like two words containing the word “internet” against an english dictionary). I am sure there is still hope in similar situations.
Also, what if I buy like 100 .com domains containing top words and at the same time being short, without dashes, no misspelings etc.
Can I make real money reselling them for at least $ 50 and for what period of time?
I know stories about how “business.com” or “sex.com” were sold for millions. But then again I am not relying on such deals. The idea behind my plan is to buy many top domains and sell them for a pretty reasonable and low price – hence to make monthly income on sedo.
Do you have experience in similar thing???

My friend’s old boss did this. This was 5-ish years ago. He bought a lot (1000s) of domain names that he figured would be profitable in the future.
I think he lost a lot of money.
