what programs is necessarily to make a CGI movie, i am planning to make a fanfilm based on a game at the moment i got 3ds max 7

Any 3D animation package, video editing software, and above all, lots of planning. To put it simply, it’s essential to have a great screenplay and a storyboard/animatic before you start on anything else, or you will hit a brick wall. Good luck.
