Where does Hollywood make up most of its movie revenue from?
Let’s just say that a certain movie only made $ 100M, but it cost $ 200M to make.
Where does Hollywood expect to make up that shortfall–if any?

As you would expect from future video rentals and over seas markets. A lot of movies that are considered to be flops at the box office can end up making a profit in the long term. The movie WATER WORLD comes to mind.
