That movie, according to some box office stat website I was viewing a long long time ago, cost at least $ 100 million to make, I don’t know if that include(d) the ads/prints, if not you can probably throw $ 50 million in there and another $ 10-$ 30 million for the cost of inflation since 2001. I’m glad it got made and that nobody went broke in the process or smeared their reputation by being associated with it, but if it made its money back, that would be good to know b/c I personally think it’s one of, if not THE, best movies ever. It would be a shame if such a good movie kept from getting made in the future b/c of budget problems…I’m a screenwriter, BTW, although I’ve been rather dormant in trying to break through with anything for the last 8 years or so…I didn’t start until I was 16 and it wasn’t until I was 18 that I learned some plain basics and now I’m almost 28, and have a hard time believing I have anything substantial to offer the film industry…but anyway…thanx.

According to Wikepedia (ok well not the most reliable source but…) $ 100 million was sent and it made just ovver $ 235 million…
