Digital Screentoning

Digital screentoning. Software used: – Adobe Photoshop CS3 – Celsys Powertone3 plugin for Photoshop Hardware: – Dell Inspiron 1721 – Wacom Intuos3 (6″x 11″) Music by: move Video edition: Windows Movie Maker Second CamStudio video. This video has a more “tutorial” feeling than the inking one (I decided to place some textual steps of what I do in the whole screentoning process). Since the tones are made of little, black dots on a white background, some moire effect can be expected when zoomed out like this. This doesn’t mean it will look like that once printed at full scale. I recommend toning at a 600dpi of resolution for best printing quality. Yes, I use custom dither brushes downloaded from the internetz. If you have any suggestions for my vids, please feel free to leave comments! 😉
