Question by Anonymous Dude(tte): Does Anyone Think That the Wii Gets Too Many Movie Titles?
There’s The Ant Bully, The Barnyard, Cars, The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, Happy Feet, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, Meet the Robinsons, Open Season, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, Ratatouille, Surf’s Up, Transformers: The Game, Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Iron Man, TMNT, The Spiderwick Chronicles, and The Golden Compass!
That’s 19 (and growing!) movie titles, plus other TV-show-based spin-offs that I haven’t mentioned.
I think that they should just stop making movie titles, because most of the time, they aren’t even fun.
What’s your opinion on this?
All four of you first answerers–df747jet, tha shiznit, Kevin M, and metroidfan220–you all post great points.
I agree with all of you. Yes, the Wii should have a larger variety of games, including movie titles, that should appeal to kids, not just teens and adults. And Nintendo is not responsible for creating awful movie-license titles.
Oh, and that’s 21 titles (Kevin M, I got your Edit. Balls of Fury and Scarface: The World is Yours)
Still, most movie titles are bad, and they give the console a bad name for hit-or-miss titles.

Wii is the only console that really appeals to families this generation. Because of this, it would only be natural for the companies to put their games on Wii, as they would get the biggest audience.
Other than Metroid, and Mario Galaxy, the Wii is more of a party console than a console for gamers.
