Question by lil_miss_anqel: Does anyone think that they would make movies based on the rest of the books in the Twilight Saga?
I was unsure how they would end the Twilight Movie. I wondered if they would follow the book as much as they should or if they would give it some big Hollywood ending and close it up. It seems incomplete to not follow up with the rest of the information from the series, the first book is only the beginning.

I’m not a huge of movies ever made from books because they couldn’t possible include the thought behind the characters to make it measure up but I’m just beyond curious!

If you haven’t read the script for the Twilight movie, it follows the book quite closely, to the end, leaving a bit of a “cliffhanger” even for an easy transition to a sequel.
New Moon is already in some sort of pre-production with Summit, last I checked.

EDIT-
Now that I am thinking about New Moon as a sequel, what will be most interesting to me is how they deal with the long absence of Edward, which I don’t think movie-audiences will respond to well AT ALL. I think even as a book, New Moon is probably the least well received of all the books and least liked (me included) because of the situation with Edward.
So it will be interesting to see how they change his absence in the movie, which I think is inevitable.
Personally, I think they will not let Edward be away quite as long as he is in the book. I think his absence will be sped through in the movie.
Hmm this would be a good question…. to see other’s opinions…….
