I was just wondering… there’s quite an effort to make a movie subtitle, even to adapt one…
Do people who make subtitles win anything out of that?? If yes, how?

well really the subtitles come from the script.. but it will have to be written somehow
some might do it for free, others might charge
but tbh.. it is a necessity with movies, becuase it eliminates the boundaries between hearing and deaf people
they probably get some kind of reward for spending their time writing it out, especially if it includes descriptions.
if ur thinking of a career as a subtitler u might wanna check out google for places to go
