had no awnsers earlier so im askin again,,,almost 2 1/2 years ago i was hit by a drunk driver,, feels like someone is standing on my back and my lower back hurts so bad at times i cry,, my doctor has me on 5mg valium 3 xs a day and percocet 5mg 325 3xs a day,3 months ago i asked that my doses be lowered from 7.5 to my current 5mg 3xs a day,,for the past 3 months i have been cutting my doses again ,to which i still have some vailum from july and i went from takin 1 and a half perc,, to just a half ,to just when i need to take one,mabe 6 a week and last week i got through without 1 at all, now he pee tested me,,which i know will come back negitive ,cause i didnt take any,the week prior and i told the nurse who pee tested me that,she never asked why, now im worried that he will think im not taking them at all and selling them,,which i haven’t,, i have all but 7 out of the new script of 90,, are you allowed to wean yourself off them? can i get in trouble for weaning myself off?

Nope. If you were selling them you could worry, but if you’re not doing anything wrong then don’t even think about it. You dont HAVE to do anything your doctor tells you, sometimes they are wrong. You can’t “get in trouble” what would the doctor do, have you arrested for not taking your medication?
