DVD Video Guide Book?

Question by John TFL: DVD Video Guide Book?
This may sound like a strange question, but here it is:

I have this book called DVD & Video Guide by Mick Martin & Marsha Porter, what I am looking to do is to input them on an Excel spreadsheet to make it easier to find movies by either director or cast (using the ctrl+f combo and selecting find all) I have the spreadsheet set up to list this info:

Movie Title:Movie Year:Movie Rating:Movie Genre:Movie Synopsis:Movie Length:Director:Cast:

from left to right. I am currently (slowly that is) typing them into the spreadsheet. Now my question is, is there a place where they are all listed where I can copy and paste them or does anyone have this typed out already. I would like to get it done and not be still inputting them many many years later? The book is like 1,291 pages so typing them all will take some time. Any suggestions – I’m a big movie buff and currently work for Hollywood Video and would like to take my notebook there to aid me in searching as their search is
limited in its search – my understanding (course I only started today) is you can only search for titles and not cast and director. Thanks.

I looked around a little bit for you and I was not able to find anything that showed the movies and everything. BUT, If you go onto the Intranet site on the computer at your work and go to the Zoltar link, you can search movies by title, actor, and director. It also shows similar film. When you open up the page, it will show you similar films, a short synopsis, and also show you show you what sort of rating it got from some different reviews. That is what I use when I cant think of a good movie to rent.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

I will see if I can find a list for you somewhere on the web though.
