NB The character of Krishnakant Trivedi (KT) essayed by Harsh Chhaya is introduced from this episode. Manasi & Jaman go to Delhi to meet their new owner Krishnakant Trivedi (Harsh Chhaya) on the lawns of a hotel where a dancer (Mamta Deshmukh) performs a traditional Indian classical dance (Kathak) to the vocal accompaniment of a classical singer. Trivedi apologizes for being late explaining he was held up by the receptionist who insisted on only attending to those guests who were foreigners forcing him to have her sacked. He offers to double the salary of the staff that wants to stay alongside a handsome compensation to those willing to leave. Manasi & Jaman get drunk & forget their briefcase but end up in bed making love. Back in Mumbai, Savitri waits frantically for Manasi’s call as she has grown addicted to creative work over the last 3 years & waxes eloquent about the excitement of creating something unique everyday amazing Shyam with her eloquence. What add to her joy are the rave reviews earned by Sushma from drama critics for her riveting performance last night. Shyam offers to accompany her for Sushma’s next performance & she’s euphoric as she leaves to meet Manasi.
