Question by Joelo: Filming and shooting a short film.?
guys i need help i have to make a 5 minute film for my finals and i dont know shit…i have a panasonic vid cam.its top of the line..i’ll add it’s specs detail ASAP…some tips and tricks of the trade..i’ll be shooting and i only have one actor..its a “mood movie”; shot outdoors, theres a river mountain, sunset,sunrise, i’ll basically make us of nature so as to make the film interesting…pls help

Lighting will be tricky since you’re going to be outdoors, esp. on video. You may need a separate light source( other than the sun!) to make sure your actor is illuminated. Keeping the camera steady would be a pretty basic requirement so a tripod would be a good idea. Good luck!
