Goapele- Closer The original music video 2001/no effects

The original closer video 2001 directed by Beto”Mooncricket”Lopez As you can see below this video was made by accident. I was making an EPK for Goapele before she got signed by Sony BMG and I just made it up as we were on the road I would just have them stop the car and we ghetto styled it and when I saw the shot I liked when the sun was just right. Everything you see in the video is all natural and no effects. Just simple editing and the way I see things when I shoot on the fly. I’m a one man crew and don’t need a fancy crew to create my art. This is a short zombie movie I made with my friends in the summer of 2006. It’s corny, the acting is pretty awful, the effects are cheesy and campy. But we wanted it that way. We wanted to give this a “B” movie feel. Being 16, 17 year olds still in high school, we were pretty inexperienced anyway. We all had a blast making this movie, and we are all proud of it regardless of the quality. I am happy to have it on YouTube for the first time. There are some occasional frame rate issues, but that was due to my re-render of the DVD rip.
