Grabbag – Duke Nukem 3D Theme Cover

Please read: MP3 Download: rapidshare.com Guitar Pro 5 Tab Download: rapidshare.com This is my version of the Duke Nukem 3D theme, heavily modeled after Chris Kline aka Vertexguy’s cover, which was basically the Megadeth version but with more from the original by Lee Jackson, I decided to go a little further and take more inspiration from the original, including using the original guitar solo, which turned out pretty cool. Other than that, the guitar solos are a mess, I’m not to good with playing fast as I’m mostly doing heavy riffs (kinda ironic, seeing that my guitar is a Paul Gilbert signature guitar…) but after some tries I kinda managed to get some improvised stuff I was happy with. The last tapping solo is a mess though, if you check out the Guitar Pro tab you will see that I weren’t even able to tab it right, haha. Oh well! Still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever to come out, and this is my tribute to the Duke Nukem franchise, I hope he’s not gone for good.
