Question by Nelson: How can have a career as as a person who creates the visual effects in movies?
I graduated high school back in June and haven’t decided what to do. I’m really interested in the visual effects in movies or on television but not sure how I can become educated in that field. I’ve looked online for universities that teach visual effects but I read reviews and somehow the reviewers mostly say they wasted their money. My dream is to work for a company that edits movies making the visual effects. What should I do?

Yeah I really like the effects in a movie too I thought it was the director who did that but boy was I wrong I don’t know exactly who it is but some movies don’t have visual effects I mean some of the newer movies yes but it could be like the set designer if you look at the credits at the end of a movie they will usually tell you what or who did this or they have terms for them but I think it maybe the set designer or visual effects editor. I’m gonna give you a link from IMDB that lists some of the people that go into a movie and this may or not help you but I hope it does.
