So for people who have read the book, I have to make this movie trailer for the book thirteen reasons why. I have made a movie trailer but my teacher said it was too informative. it gave out too much of the book. I first showed clay getting the tapes then he listens to them and while thats happening i have a voice over of hannah. i also had in between scences clays perspective of the tapes when he finished listening to them. An example was when hannah and justin kissed rumors went around. after the kissing scene is done clay stops the tapes and says his opinion. My teacher said that i gave 2 much information but i dont know any other way 2 do it without giving the whole story away..

these are the requirements:

Identify the title and the author.
Depict the time and place.
Show how the protagonist changes during the novel.
Show the problem or conflict the protagonist faces.
Illustrate TWO important symbols or images from the novel.
Share audience and reviewers’ reactions to the novel.

How am i supposed 2 show clays changes in the book or another characters changes in the book without giving away the ending?? and how do i show the problems?
