How can I sell my script?

Question by joeroxxx: How can I sell my script?
I just completed a script and Im about to get it copyrighted and I have high hopes that will sell because of its very high concept story, think Shallow Hal or Bruce Almighty. I have had friends read it and they all think its a great script that would work really good as a movie they only problem is what do I do next? Do I call production compaines? Do I send it to an agent? How can I get it noticed?

send it to the local tv station . they have lots of conections @ if they like it they will pass it on .
