Okay so here is my problem, I’ve tried all the ways I can to split my videos up so I can upload them online to convert them into mp4 (so I can play them on my ipod). However, none of the ways work, and I am getting pretty frustrated with not being able to put my d*mn 298MB movie on my ipod! (Sorry for my language)
I’ll list all my problems and what I need help with just to make things easier:
1.) So basically I want to know if there’s any way I can split my 298MB movies (avi and rmvb) into 2 or 3 or more parts so I can convert them online (because most of the online converters have a maximum of 100MB)
HJ Split doesn’t work because when I split the video up to 2 or more files, they’re all labeled video 001, or video 002, etc. so basically, by splitting the video into 2 or more parts is just easier for people to download them online, THEN combine them to watch it.
But the media converters/players will not allow me to convert, or watch these videos separately.
If HJ split DOES work for my problem, please tell me =]
2.) If my above concern cannot be solved in any way, then I want to know if there’s a website that allows me to upload videos more than 100MB and convert them into mp4’s!
3.) The reason why I’m not asking for freewares for media converters, is because when after I install them, they only upload files from the administrator folders, in other words, I use Vista, and just for example I sign in as Jane, but Tom is the adminastrator, so when I install these media converters when signed in as Jane, I can only upload media to convert from Tom’s folders. Any solutions to this? =[
5.) But if the above problem (administrators & users problem) can be solved, then I would like recommendations on media converters (they have to be FREEWARE) that can convert my 298MB vides (avi/rmvb) into mp4.
This is pretty darn urgent~haha so please help me in any way you can! Thanks!

wow come, u missed the program that comes installed on your computer!!!
Movie Maker!!!!!!
Import the file and click on where u want to cut it and then go to tools and split
delete the files to to the right and save it, it will be saved as wmv
do this for the other times and your good to go =)
just convert wmv to mp4 and voila!!!!
