I want to be a film director when i grow up. I just love the idea of making movies. I read this book series called camp confidential and i would love to make it into a mini series when i get older. I want to direct, write, and be in charge of casting. How do i do this. Please answer without talking about film school because i already know about that part. Do i have to talk to the author? I there special people i have to talk to? I need help?

Yes you have to talk to the author because he/she has rights to the story.
