Is there a way to do it with vegas movie studio 8, not vegas pro. Also is there a way to have a nice line border between the two clips? thanks

well, ther emight be an easier way, but i know you can accomplish it by playing with the cropping thingy on the upper right hand corner of the footage in the timeline. it allows you to move the footage around the screen. one thing i might add because it was a big disapointment to me was that movie studio does nothing compared to the actual vegas editor. i went and blew a hundred dollars on it one weekend and found that it offers none of the tools that come with vegas, like if you downloaded the trial, you’ll notice it had a ton more tools and effects, masking and time remapper in example. so if you go searching tutoirals for this, you might hit this brick wall too.
