Question by SiloNova: How do I make all the pictures in Windows Movie Maker the same length?
*Please do not bombard me with websites with new programs to create videos on. I just want a simple question answered here, thanks*
I’m making a slide show to put on youtube… Could anybody tell me how to make all of my pictures the same length???
When I try manually it does not let me set it the same as the others on other pictures… Please help!
Ok I am already in timeline view.
I need all my pictures set at 8:08 but when I set most of them as that… The rest I try only let me set 8:05 then it skips to 8:13. Why won’t it let me set them all to 8:08 and it is nothing t do with the images either.

Switch to timeline view. Here you can see how long each clip will be displayed and adjust it accordingly.
Edit: Left click on the clip, the go to the menu bar and select Tools then Options. Select the tab that says Advanced. The first section is for picture Duration and it will allow you to type whatever length you want.
If that doesn’t work like you want, then you need better software. I suggest Pinnacle Studio they have free trials. Windows Movie Maker is not meant to do anything special.
