Question by shmick_chicky: How do I make home movies that look like old fashioned 50s style home movies?
Like with bright blotchy lighting & that flickery look… what kind of camera, film etc, where can i get it?
If I were to get an old camera circa 50s would 8mm be the right type? And what about getting film for it?

I have a video camera that has this effect on it. You can film in sepia, black and white and the style that you are talking about. Check with Best Buy or a place like that that sells different video camera, this is a common feature.
