I’m trying to make a video with pictures and a few videos that I took with my digital camera. Everytime i try to get the videos on, it won’t go into the media. Does anyone know how i can get these videos into my video on Windows Movie Maker?
i dont think the videos are in the right format. So how would i change the format?

i don’t mind that the videos not be in right format ,as movie maker support many formats .try importing video from import then videos and set file type to all media files ,if you couldn’t do this ,then try to first play your videos and watch if they play right ,some kind of formats are not editable ,i think as mp4 ,but may be you can find right software for helping it ,movie maker support this file formats .
Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvrms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv
Audio files: .aif, .aifc, .aiff .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, and .wma
Picture files: .bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, and .wmf
right click on your video file then go to properties ,then hit change button then see if you can find thing as video.mp4 or video.3gp or the same ,mp4 or 3gp that those are after . dot ,are named file format .if your file formats weren’t as Video files: .asf, .avi, .dvrms, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv then movie maker doesn’t support it ,and you must try other software ,you can find them as video file editors in google.
