How do you film using the nikon cool pix?

Question by ♥Greeen Bean ♥: How do you film using the nikon cool pix?
When i press mode then get to the video it takes automatic pictures but i don’t want that i want to get to the part where it makes a movie like a recording

How can i do that?
can my Camera do that anyways?

PLEASE HELP
the users manual doesnt help me cause ive tried and it keeps taking automatic pictures

okay well you see the buttons on the top, go to the one with the camera, film thingy, and scene

go down to movie and click okay

then to start the movie, click the button you usually would take a picture with and then to end it push the same button
